Thunderbird is a secured, gated community on the shore of Milford Lake. Park the rig, plug in, and the rest of the day is the beach, the docks and the lake.

When is the RV season at Thunderbird?

RV sites are open seasonally, April 1 – October 31. Seasonal campers hold their site for that whole stretch.

Do your sites have 50 amp service and full hookups?

Sites are 30-amp and 50-amp accessible, with water. Sewer is upon availability. CampLife shows the tags for the site you select, including 20/30/50-Amp and Sewer. Call for current rates. The security deposit is $300 when a site or a slip is rented on its own. A site and a slip together are a $300 site deposit plus a $150 slip deposit.

How do I book a nightly site?

Open the site’s page and use Book on CampLife. It opens that site, such as WB21, already selected. Online RV booking closes at 3 PM.

How do I book a seasonal site?

Seasonal sites for April 1 – October 31 are booked by phone at 785-238-5864. Electricity on a seasonal site is metered and paid monthly. Call for current rates. The security deposit is $300 when a site or a slip is rented on its own. A site and a slip together are a $300 site deposit plus a $150 slip deposit.

Are pets allowed?

Yes. Pets are welcome but must be leashed, and guests must pick up after them.

Can I get a boat slip with my site?

Yes, and there is a discount for booking a site and a slip together. The deposit on the pair is $300 for the site plus $150 for the slip. A site or a slip rented on its own is a $300 security deposit. Call 785-238-5864 Ext. 1 to set it up.
