CampLife lists 184 bookable units, including 87 slips on A and B docks.
Where is Thunderbird Marina?
Thunderbird is on the south end of Milford Lake, in the West Rolling Hills area near the dam, in Geary County. The address is 4725 West Rolling Hills, Junction City, KS 66441. The pin is 39.069549, -96.922030.
How do I book a site or a slip?
Nightly RV stays, tent sites, and on-site RV rentals go through CampLife. Open that unit’s page and use Book on CampLife. It opens the site already selected. Online RV booking closes at 7 PM.
Do sites have 50 amp and sewer?
Thunderbird’s site says the RV sites are 30-amp and 50-amp accessible, with water, and sewer upon availability. A laundry room is on the grounds. CampLife shows amenity tags that can include 20/30/50-Amp, Covered, Customer Lift, Sewer, and Tbird Lift.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed. They must be leashed, and guests must pick up pet droppings. A listing that says Thunderbird has a no-pets policy is wrong.
Season dates and the booking cutoff
RV sites and boat slips are open April 1 through October 31. Online RV booking closes at 7 PM. That cutoff is for the CampLife checkout, not a published gate time.
How do boat slip leases work?
Seasonal slips are leased by phone for April 1 through October 31. Covered slips run from 20 to 30 feet. Lifts are based on availability. Call for current rates and deposit. You may fish from your slip. Cameras oversee the slips. The marina is gated.
What is the sister location?

How many sites and slips are there?
Older pages said “over 120” RV sites and “over 80” slips. We book from CampLife’s current list: 184 units. That includes RV sites in five areas, six tent sites, six on-site RV rentals, the Barn, the Overlook, and 87 slips (A dock A02–A43 plus A35.2, and B dock B03–B14 and B17–B48).
