What is actually there
The beach is sand on the cove, with picnic tables and a swim-buoy line, inside the gate. Roadside sites are the loops beside that beach. The tent sites are grouped nearby.
No lifeguard schedule is published. Swim like it is a lake, because it is. The buoy line marks the swim water the resort set up. It is not a pool.
Pair it with the rest of the gate
The playground is the afternoon plan: play fort, swings, jumping pillow, gaga pit, basketball, and sand volleyball. The waterfront gazebo and the barn are the shade.
If the day turns into a boat day, the ramps are on the property. You do not leave the gate to launch.
